Great, but it's melted by the time it arrives in the mail August 24, 2010 Daniel J. Huh I threw the box into the fridge b/c it was all melted. When I eat it, it tastes great for a protein/meal replacement bar.
Met-RX big 100 cookie dough bar subscription August 19, 2010 T. Paradan (Redwood City, CA United States) Great product composition, price, and subscription mechanism.
However, the taste is somewhat disappointing.
Will not continue subscription
Deceptive Advertising May 14, 2010 Ash (NJ) Excellent Bar if you are looking for lots of Sugar...the Amazon product information lists the following as the ingrediants: "Metamyosyn V100 Protein Blend, Corn Syrup, Brown Rice Syrup, Coated Chocolate Chips ..." however the package lists "Corn Syrup" as the first ingrediant.
The bar has the same sugar content as a can of soda or a dessert (which might be ok if it actually tasted good). The irony is that it would actually taste a lot better if it wasn't sooooo sweet...
A good-tasting, high energy bar April 18, 2010 Raymond M. Hicks (AZ) We have been eating Met-Rx meal replacement bars for several years. They taste good, give a real energy boost and we don't get hungry again for 3 to 4 hours - great for hiking.
Great, if you like eating pure sugar. April 12, 2010 C. Chapman (Hollywood, CA) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
This baffles me. They call it a "meal replacement" bar, but there's enough sugar in these to make a big wedding cake. This isn't a meal replacment bar. It's an appetizer with 50 table spoons of sugar. So you get a little protein and enough sugar to ruin any health benefits.
