This is the best low carb bar that I've tried yet! Atkins has really improved their bars. I always keep these on hand.

With only 1 gram of sugar, I really wasn't expecting much. Normally, these types of low sugar bars tastes like the boxes they come in. However, I was very surprised at how great these tastes! Not sure where they are getting the caramel from though because they tastes more like Oreo cookies. Great crunch, not dry and flavorful! With 160 calories, 10 grams of protein and 11 grams of fiber, as far as low sugar protein bars are concerned, it doesn't get much better than this! Wash it down with a cold glass of skimmed milk and I swear you'll feel like you've just done some major cheating on your diet!

These bars have a very odd artificial chemical taste.
There is a faint taste of chocolate. It has no caramel flavor.

I've tried a number of low carb bars both Atkins and others and these are on the top of my list. A lot of the others have a sort of gummy nougat center, but these are like little chocolate cookies and caramel wrapped in dark chocolate. You could never tell these are sugarless and low carb. I forgot how much I missed the taste and consistency of cookies until I tried these. Simply awesome! A real treat.

These are the best Atkin's bars. I hope that Amazon will continue to offer them through Prime. It would be great as a Subscribe and Save item as well.
