Works ok as a appetite suppressant, but not a "miracle pill" (as I was hoping!) July 19, 2010

I started taking solo slim about 2 months ago at the suggestion of a friend who lost 25 lbs. in 3 months on it. I have been taking solo slim regular strength for those 2 months, and can't say that I've noticed any major weight loss, however it does help curb my appetite at least a little. I have lost maybe 5 lbs. , with no other real changes in my lifestyle other than taking this 1 pill each morning. I don't get as hungry throughout the day as I have in the past, however, I am a creature of habit and still snack too much...guess I need a pill to curb boredom too! I can't say that I've noticed any negative side effects really, either, so it's worth a try if you are thinking of buying! I don't know what all the "cotton mouth" problems people have mentioned are about. Neither my friend, or myself have noticed that at all. I have had several headaches recently, but have decided they are from my lack of caffeine, as I am trying to wean myself from diet soda, to drink more water. Anyhow, I am just ordering 2 more bottles, so I am going to stick with it for a while. I'm hoping to add some more exercise to my daily routine. Currently I exercise 1 or 2 times per week, and nothing hard core...mostly just walking, maybe a little biking here and there, and some swimming with my 2 year old. Solo Slim worked well, but not all day for me. I'm 6'0" @ 215, and after about 8 hours I noticed a slight decline in how effective it was at curbing my appetite (meaning after about 8 hours I'd start getting pretty hungry). The extra strentgh would probably work much better for me. My wife is 5'8" @ 122 and it works great for her-she absolutely loves it (we bought 2 bottles).
Shipped quickly from seller and we did not have any issues with our purchase. Would buy from this seller again.

I don't do well with any diet pills. They always make me feel yucky. A friend told me about this one and I have been on it for about 20 days. I love it. No side effects. I don't know that it speeds up my weight loss but it does suppress my appetite all day long, which is why I bought it in the first place. I have to make myself eat instead of me eating all day long.

SoloSlim sold this product direct through Amazon over a year ago. It had dozens of stellar reviews at that time and so I gave in and decided to try the product for myself. I was initially disappointed when they stopped selling this product on Amazon because this product worked!! It drastically curbed my appetite and all it took was one pill in the morning.
My goal was to only lose 5 stubborn pounds and this product helped me reach my goal purely by not making me hungry. I jog at least 30 minutes a day but I love snacking so my caloric intake is much greater than what I burn off through exercise. When I was on this pill, I wasn't hungry any more and instead of finishing a plate of spaghetti for example as I normally did, all I needed was half a plate to make me full.
However, this product does come with side effects: 1. You'll probably get cotton mouth on this product which can lead to stinky breath. I always had water and gum near by! 2. You may experience insomnia in the first 2 weeks. 3. HEADACHES!! Horrible, dulling, constant headaches!! I called SoloSlim and asked them if this was normal and they said I had to drink more water. I was always WELL hydrated so I know dehydration wasn't causing the headaches.
I used this product off an on for a few months (went through 3 bottles, ended up liking maximum strength better) to help me control my weight but I ended up stopping it completely because the headaches were just unbearable. Oh, and in case you are wondering why I'm using a diet pill if I only want to lose 5 pounds... well even though I try to work out daily, sometimes I get lazy and sometimes my sweet tooth gets the better of me so its nice to have a little "help" in stabilizing my weight when I'm being "bad"!

I have used this product for about 6 months and lost about 15 lbs, but the weight came back on as soon as I stopped taking it. I curbed my appetite, but never helped with my crazy sweet tooth. Made me feel much fuller a lot quicker. No major side effects. I am now using a product called OxyElite Pro and that is SO much better! I hope this helps to anyone that is looking for an incredibly effective weight loss aid.
